
Taobao 618 Sale Engagement Campaign




As the Digital Marketing Support, I carried the task of ideating 3 Static Instagram/Facebook Posts & 1 Carousel - along with my Account Manager & Creative Executives, for our Client, Taobao -the biggest online shopping platform in China.
Being the backbone of this campaign, I helped to execute this campaign from start to finish - and had full creative control over what we wanted to put out. I took the responsibility of doing extensive research on what Taobao was all about, what the perks of their shopping platform was and how I could use it to my advantage to showcase the best things of Taobao and attract their audiences with it.
Besides research, I also had full control on what our creatives would look like. I helped to source for references, stock images to be used for the creatives, and also did all the copywriting in each design.
All in all, we created advertisements targeted towards the youth demographics, by having the main messages of the advertisements be focused on endless discounts, endless choices of things to buy, getting free vouchers to use when you checkout - to attract them to want to take part in the sale.
We also made use of bright and eye-catching visuals that supported the messages of each ad to catch their attention and draw them to read the message.
This campaign was a success in engaging the audience, by achieving more than 1000 likes and 150 shares in the 4 weeks it ran.
